Carolyn Presley, MD earned her bachelors in science in Genetics from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and her medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School. She completed residency in Internal Medicine, a combined fellowship in Geriatric Oncology and Hematology at the Yale Cancer Center, and a masters in health sciences from Yale University as a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholar. She is an active member of the Cancer Outcomes, Public Policy and Effectiveness Research Center (COPPER) and the Cancer and Aging Research Group (CARG). Her research interests focus on comparative effectiveness research and functional trajectories among geriatric oncology patients. She is pursuing a career as a clinician-researcher in an NCI-designated cancer center focusing on excellent patient care and clinical research with the unified goal of improving cancer care for older adults with cancer.
